A Breeze of Hope

When I walked outside earlier this afternoon, I was swept away with the warmth that was in the wind.  My dress, my hair, all moving in the breeze, but I stopped.  I just wanted to take it all in.  Breathe.  Smile. Tweet…yes, I had to tell people in the world that nature was simply beautiful today.  I think a harsh winter makes spring and summer that much more desirable.  I think difficult snows bring about a motivation to really move at the faintest onset of a summer breeze in spring…

A Breeze of Hope

I stop in the wind.

Allowing a hint of my creator to move all around me.

In this moment I want nothing more…

This peace…

This beauty…

This hope of life.

A spring creation

the sound of trees blowing,

a distant highway of passing cars

people traveling near and far.

The breeze is warm

and wild in what it instills.

Thoughts of walking instead of driving

of swinging instead of flying

of living instead of dying

of hoping and planting and breathing.

A cool breeze on a cool day can bring sorrow and dismay

A cool breeze on a warm day; welcomed relief.

A warm breeze on a spring day…

A breeze of hope.
